Project Structure
The project will be developed over a 3-year period and is divided into two subprojects, which cover various work packages (WPs).
Subproject 1: Monitoring and Detection (MD) Services
WP1: MD Conceptional Phase
The overall objective of this WP1 is to plan and perform the organizational work and the management activities related to the project. It involves the definition of target service models and organizational models to refine the scope and work of the project.
WP2: MD Implementation Phase
The overall objective of WP2 is to implement the procedures defined in WP1. It, furthermore, involves integration of cyber threat intelligence input, test and validation of use cases, and onboarding of the designed infrastructure in Munich Airport.
WP3: MD Service Provisioning and Scope Enlargement Phase
While the first implementations of the project are in operation, network and information systems are monitored and analysed. Additional aviation service participants are involved to enlarge the scope of aviation SOC.
Subproject 2: AI-assisted Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Collection, Enrichment and Sharing Platform
WP4: CTI Conceptional Phase
The main objective of WP4 is to define cyber threat intelligence needs for aviation sector for CTI sharing according to the needs of CTI consumer groups with defined classification and defined collection requirements to increase availability, quality, usability, and interoperability.
WP5: CTI Implementation Phase
In WP5 the work performed in WP4 is realised. The collection platform for inter-participant sharing will be based on collection mechanisms and additional CTI is realized based on AI extraction and analysis mechanisms.
WP6: CTI Service Provisioning and Scope Enlargement Phase
The overall objective is the service provisioning and scope enlargement. This includes the introduction of CTI service to the participants.
