Objective
The development and implementation of CybAirSOC is a collaborative effort between SAMA PARTNERS and Munich Airport funded by the European Union.
This partnership brings together SAMA PARTNERS' expertise in business solutions and cybersecurity with Munich Airport's extensive experience in aviation security.
The result is a comprehensive, innovative solution designed to meet the specific needs of the aviation industry.
Key Features
CybAirSOC is designed to provide comprehensive, real-time monitoring and response capabilities to address the dynamic nature of cyber threats.
The solution includes several key features:
- SOC-as-a-Service: CybAirSOC offers a robust Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring continuous monitoring of the current cybersecurity status. This service facilitates rapid detection and response to cyber-attacks, minimizing potential damage and downtime.
- Enhanced Security Monitoring: The solution integrates the effective security monitoring functions of a traditional SOC with advanced predictive analysis of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). This combination ensures that potential threats are identified and mitigated before they can cause significant harm.
- Advanced AI and Machine Learning for CTI: Leveraging the power of state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, CybAirSOC delivers conclusive cybersecurity insights. These technologies enable the system to adapt and respond to new threats in real-time, enhancing the overall resilience of aviation infrastructure.
- Cooperation Platform: CybAirSOC promotes exchange of information from various SOCs in an intelligent manner.
- Continual Threat Awareness: CybAirSOC maintains a continuous awareness of emerging threats, methods, attack vectors, and technologies. This proactive approach ensures that the system remains up-to-date with the latest developments in the cyber threat landscape, providing ongoing protection for the aviation sector.
Project Stages
The CybAirSOC project is structured into four phases.
Phases I-III occur during the project's implementation, while Phase IV continues after the project's formal completion.
Phase I - Analysis and Design: Assess the preexisting countermeasures and define requirements and create the project's blueprint.
Phase II - Implementation and Testing: Build and continuously evaluate the system.
Phase III - Rollout and Continuous Adaptation and Improvement: Deploy the solution and refine it based on feedback and evolving threats.
Phase IV - International Expansion: Implement CybAirSOC internationally.
