What is CybAirSOC?
Ensuring Aviation Cybersecurity across Europe
The new CybAirSOC initiative, represents a significant leap forward in cybersecurity for the aviation sector. Co-founded by the European Union as part of the Digital Europe Program its mission is to secure critical infrastructure across Europe. CybAirSOC aims to provide a comprehensive Security Operations Center as a Service (SOC-as-a-Service) specifically tailored for the unique needs of the aviation industry.
In collaboration with Munich Airport, a leader in aviation security and technology SAMA PARTNERS is developing CybAirSOC to integrate seamlessly with existing security measures while enhancing overall protection. Munich Airport will serve as the initial implementation site for this state-of-the-art solution, showcasing its capabilities and setting a new standard for airport cybersecurity.
Background
The aviation sector faces an ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. As technology advances, so do the methods and sophistication of cyber-attacks. Recognizing the urgent need to stay ahead of these threats, within the CybAirSOC project a proactive response to safeguard critical aviation infrastructure will be developed.
